Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Probe5 receives, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit to Probe5, including your email address, website target, ownership-verification data, support messages, audit configuration, and report activity. For advanced staging audits, this can also include API definitions, synthetic test-account labels, role information, and workflow descriptions.

We may receive order identifiers, product details, purchase status, and contact information from Digistore24 so we can provide the purchased audit, customer access, support, and refunds. Digistore24 processes the payment; Probe5 does not receive your full payment-card number.

Basic technical records such as IP address, browser information, request time, security events, and service errors may be processed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

  • Provide, verify, and deliver the audit or report you requested.
  • Confirm authorization and enforce safe testing boundaries.
  • Process customer access, order support, and refund requests.
  • Protect Probe5, investigate abuse, and improve service reliability.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Probe5, when you direct us to do so, or when disclosure is required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law.

Promotional email choices

Probe5 does not currently operate a promotional newsletter. If we send promotional emails or newsletters in the future, each message will include an unsubscribe link.

You may opt out or unsubscribe from promotional emails and newsletters at any time by using that link or emailing hello@probe5.com with the subject “Unsubscribe.” We will honor the request, but may still send non-promotional messages needed to deliver your purchase, respond to support or refund requests, or protect your account and the service.

Security and retention

Probe5 uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it processes. No online service can promise absolute security. Customers should never submit real identity documents, production passwords, payment-card data, or secrets that are not required for an authorized audit.

Synthetic staging credentials submitted through the approved vault are designed to expire after 24 hours. Other records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain audit history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.

Your choices and contact

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information held by Probe5, subject to verification and applicable legal exceptions. Contact hello@probe5.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
